From the Ground to the Plate: FG2P, Tunisia

The project “From the Ground to the Plate: FG2P” in Tunisia focuses on the principles of sustainability in food production and ecological footprint. The first session on October 29 discussed the importance of balancing the social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainable agriculture. The second session on October 30 focused on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations, and participants worked on an action plan to achieve some of these goals through the project. The third session on November 5 included an action plan for planting vegetables in a garden, utilizing techniques such as organic farming, biodynamic agriculture, and permaculture. Techniques for implementing the plan, such as crop rotation, pest monitoring, and soil covering with organic matter, were also discussed
