Food Lab

From the plate to the ground” (FP2G) is a youth project coordinated by Salceda de Caselas Municipality (Spain) in partnership with ASPEA (Portugal), ASEMADI (Spain) APLM (Tunisia) University of Sousse (Tunisia) and UNIEL (Albania). FP2G is aimed to be a project to raise awareness on food sustainability in the target regions, while exploring different ways to the dominant production and consumption model, enhancing the organic and sustainable alternatives.

Youth workers and relevant stakeholders will receive training and address with their peers the present context in their region and will propose different fields of action that can tackle this problem. On the other hand, youth will work on understanding the principles of food sustainability, while learning the basics for growing in an organic garden, through the development of the Garden Labs, community gardens created throughout the project in Spain, Portugal, Tunisia and Albania.

Throughout the project several intellectual outputs are to be produced, highlighting, a Multimedia Handbook for food sustainability, the No Waste Food App and learning video tutorials on organic gardening. All the learning outcomes will be available through the project’s website
